3.1 Tool Input Data

When you use our server-side tools, we temporarily process on our servers:

• RSA Tool: Encryption/decryption data and keys
• Base64 Text Encoding/Decoding: Text strings for conversion
• Hash Generator: Input text for hashing
• Barcode Generator: Data to encode in barcodes
• Paste and Share Tool: Text content for generating shareable links

3.2 Logged Data

For security and traffic monitoring, we log:

• Request headers (via SLF4J logging)
• Timestamp of access
• Tool accessed

4. How We Process Data

Our data processing follows these protocols:

• Server Processing: RSA, Base64, Hash, Barcode, Checksum and Paste and Share tools require server processing
• In-Memory Processing: Data is processed in memory, not written to disk (except Paste and Share which is temporarily stored in Redis)
• Limited Storage: Input data is discarded after processing completes (Paste and Share data is stored temporarily in Redis)
• Secure Logging: Request headers are logged securely for security monitoring
• Encryption: All data transmissions use HTTPS encryption

5. Data Security Measures

We implement multiple security layers:

• Transport Security: TLS 1.2+ encryption for all data in transit
• Secure Logging: Request logs are protected and rotated
• Regular Audits: Security assessments of our infrastructure
• Access Controls: Strict limits on who can access systems
• DDoS Protection: Mitigation against volumetric attacks
• Data Expiry: Paste and Share data is automatically deleted after a set period

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell or share your tool input data with third parties. Limited data may be shared with:

• Service Providers: Essential infrastructure providers (e.g., hosting, Redis for temporary Paste and Share storage)
• Analytics: Aggregated usage statistics (no personal data)
• Legal Requirements: When required by law

7. User Responsibilities

When using our tools, you agree to:

• Not submit sensitive personal data (SSNs, passwords, etc.)
• Not use our tools for illegal purposes
• Ensure you have rights to any data you process
• Comply with all applicable laws
• Not use Paste and Share for sharing copyrighted or confidential information
• Understand that shared content may be accessible to others with the link

7a. Paste and Share Feature Data Policy

Data Collection & Processing

The only data collected is the content you paste into the text area.

This data is encoded (Base64) and stored temporarily in Redis for a maximum of 20 minutes.

Storage Duration

After 20 minutes, the pasted content is automatically deleted from our systems.

We do not retain logs, backups, or archives of pasted data.

Access & Sharing

A unique link is generated that allows others to view the pasted content within the 2-minute window.

Anyone with the link can access the pasted content during this time.

Security

Content is not encrypted beyond Base64 encoding and should not be considered secure.

Do not use this service to share confidential, sensitive, or personal information.

No Tracking or Profiling

We do not track, profile, or associate pasted content with individual users.

We do not use pasted content for analytics, marketing, or any secondary purposes.

Disclaimer

We cannot guarantee that shared links won't be misused. Use at your own risk.

By using this feature, you acknowledge and accept these data handling practices.
